Role of Carisoprodol
Some people suffer from muscular spasms.
These may occur because of sprains
and strains. Carisoprodol is a medication
that is used to treat such conditions
skeletal muscle spasms. Carisoprodol
works by inhibiting the pain messages
transmitted to the brain.
One of the ingredients in Carisoprodol
is codeine, which is responsible for
changes in sensation in the body,
transforming the way that a body experiences
sensations and pain. Codeine is a
narcotic which is why it has the effects
mentioned here. Carisoprodol is believed
to be most effective when used in
tandem with rest and physical therapy.
Doctors may even recommend Carisoprodol
along with other therapies. It is
known to be one of the best treatments
for injuries to the skeletal muscles.
Doctors usually recommend not more
than 4 tablets (1,400 mg) per day.
You are advised not to exceed this
amount and adhere strictly to the
doctor’s instructions.
