Flonase
Functions
Nasal blockage and other kinds
of infection to the nasal tract
can be very uncomfortable. Flonase
is one medicine that is used
to treat such conditions, as
it is a nasal corticosteroid.
It reduces swelling nasal passages,
and this helps to curtail symptoms
like a runny nose, postnasal
drip, itching, nasal congestion,
and sneezing. People who suffer
with rhinitis are usually treated
with Flonase.
Using Flonase
Flonase has to be used according
to the way it is recommended.
You have to be comfortable with
its use for you to experience
its benefits. You need to seek
a doctor’s advice on how
to use the Flonase pump and
adapter. It is advised that
you pump the spray a few times
before actually using it for
the first time. Also, the contents
need to be shaken well before
use.
Flonase Dosage
For optimum results, you are
to use Flonase twice a day in
each nostril. Do not use it
anymore than twice unless your
doctor tells you to do so.
For some users of Flonase,
there is no immediate relief.
For those who use Flonase for
several days, and see no result
in sight, a doctor should be
consulted.

If these effects continue or

steroids may cause fungal infections
of the nose or throat. Inform
your doctor if you develop an
infection. The medication may
be discontinued while the infection
is treated.

If you have reactions to Flonase

interact with them. Some drugs
to take note of in case of interactions
include:

prednisone),
• antibiotics,
• nasal products (such
as cold products)
If you happen to miss out on
a dose, do not worry. You do
not have to make up for it.
You should go one wit the next
