How Retin-A Works?
Ageing skin, wrinkles, etc.
are all some things that people
can do without; the last thing
a person needs is to look old.
People may even be dependent
on their facial appearances
for the sake of their professions.
Actors for instance are dependent
on maintaining their facial
looks. However, they are not
the only ones that need to look
young. Generally, people want
to look younger than they are
when they feel that wrinkles
are increasing on their faces.
Retin-A (Retinova) is a remedy
for ageing skin, and it is believed
to be a successful one.
Application of Retin
A
Retin-A is applied using a cotton
applicator to spread a fine
layer of the cream on the surface
of your skin. You should treat
your skin with Retin-A once
a day because more applications
of Retin-A will not increase
the effects of the cream.
Initially, some people feel
that their skin looks even worse
using the cream. However, in
due course, Retin-A begins to
take effect and reduce the visibility
of deep-set wrinkles. On the
average, you are expected to
see visible changes in your
skin after three weeks of using
Retin-A.
While applying Retin-A, you
should avoid it getting into
your eyes, nose, or mouth. Also,
Retin-A should not be applied
on areas of the skin that have
open sores.
Cautions when using
Retin A
If Retin-A happens to spread
on to areas that are not supposed
to be exposed to it, rinse the
area with water. If you wish
to use acne treatments as well
for skin conditions you should
consult your doctor first. This
will help you to prevent any
kind of interaction between
acne treatment and Retin-A.
You are not advised to use
Retin –A one day before
or after being exposed to too
much sunlight. Even exposure
to bright lamps indoors is not
recommended. Also, exposure
to cold air should be avoided
when using Retin-A. If you have
any reactions to Retin-A, you
should see a doctor immediately.
In order to test the side effects
of using Retin, you would have
to test it out on a portion
of your skin first. Doing this
will help you to assess if there
is any undue reaction. You should
be cautious if you are a smoker
and using Retin-A. This is because
the cream is flammable, and

avoid smoking.
