between Zebutal and Monoamine Oxidase
inhibitor (MAOI). Therefore medications
that contain this chemical should
not be consumed within a 14 day span
of consuming Zebutal. These medications
would include:
• isocarboxazid (Marplan),
• phenelzine (Nardil),
• tranylcypromine (Parnate)
If you happen to consume these too
close to having Zebutal, you may experience
dangerous side effects.
Medications such as Acetaminophen
and Butalbital are known to enhance
the effects of other drugs, causing
drowsiness. These medications would
include:
• antidepressants,
• pain relievers,
• anxiety medicines,
• alcohol,
• antihistamines,
• sedatives,
• muscle relaxants.
Regarding missing out on a dose,
you need to make sure that you do
not try and make up for the missed
amount. Never double dose by taking
extra doses to make up for a missed
amount. You should skip the missed
dose and move onto the next scheduled
